I repaired my vehicle with European motor Works. It was a 2014 Mercedes GL 350. The manager that worked there advised us my wife that the alignment would cost me $260. Afterwords, I found out by a reputable shop that there’s no difference in aligning a Mercedes do any other vehicle, the owner try to tell me that the alignment was special because it was a Mercedez. Long story short for a $2.60 lightbulb they charge me Close to $300 to replace it, they never called me beforehand, to discuss how much it would cost as, I thought it wouldn’t be much, I was gravely mistaken, and to top it off, o the other day I change the same lightbulb on the opposite side of the vehicle by myself it took me less than five minutes and it cost me $2.66 . They were also not very transparent with their pricing as I try to order a set of tires from them he then knowingly charge me almost $300 more for the same tires. I got online for a lot cheaper the clothes he also gave me for doing the transmission service was over $500 higher than a transmission shop that actually has experience after seeing the bill for the lightbulb change. I decided I told the owner that I will not need those tires anymore as I feel like I got screwed over. The shop found a manager was very angry because he couldn’t screw me over and further and that I caught onto his shady business .This is not just a review by an amateur I’ve been in the car industry for over two years first and honestly, I know exactly the ins and outs of how they charge on by looking at how he screws consumers over without knowing he should be held accountable by amvic. The other day, I also decided to change my own air filter and saw that they never reattached the clamp that goes to the turbo if that turbo would’ve failed due to anything debris coming in at that would’ve cost me thousands of dollars. So no I don’t think you should take your vehicle here ! they are not transparent and whatever naïve person takes their vehicle to the shop, make sure you do your homework beforehand, i’ve seen countless times how people that have a little experience, and just pay whatever.

Good Morning Jan and let me be the first to apologize for the experience you had at our shop. It seems there must have been some serious miscommunication here as we are not in the business of doing shady transactions and our goal is to give each and every customer the best service possible. I am sorry that we did not deliver on this here for you. If you are wanting to discuss this further please give our Manager a call, Jerry, and he would be more than happy to discuss the situation and work on a resolution with you. Again, we are sorry you are feeling this way and would like the opportunity to make things right. Take care and hope to talk to you soon. Thanks, AEMW Team.

Great experience! Dropped off vehicle before business hours and was personally called to confirm pick up time. Recieved a detailed report with images before pick up. Staff greeted me at the door by name (on my second visit). And, they included a courtesy car wash. The five star rating was earned on this visit, and I will be definitely be using their services in the future.

Hi Leanne, Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a 5 star review. We are so happy that our service met your expectations and we look forward to welcoming you back in the future. Have a great day!

Brought my Mercedes in for an alternator replacement and oil change. They wanted to charge me 950 for the part itself only and 280 for an oil change. Mikasa quoted me 340 for the part and 180 for an oil change with the same level of service at a much cheaper labour cost. Terribly expensive and unreasonable auto body shop. Although the work was good a 3x price difference is ridiculous, how they justify this highway robbery is beyond me.

Jamal, thank you for the message. We do apologize for not meeting your expectations. However: Last week was very very busy at the shop when you came in, with an urgent request as you needed to get to the city. We made room to diagnose your Benz, finding the alternator had failed. The "cheaper" alternator was available to us but it was a week away. Being you were in a panic and a rush we did not discuss this option and went for the one that was available right away! We shuffled things around to get you your vehicle back quickly. I am sorry this is unappreciated. What we don't understand is the entire quote was reviewed by our staff with and you agreed to the quote and authorized us to perform the needed work. With correct oil for the diesel MB, that is the regular cost of an oil change here. We sincerely hope you will find a shop to fill your needs in the future.

Good service , but 40 dollar labour charge to replace an air filter that was already out to inspect during a complementary inspection is outrageous.

Good Morning Rob and thank you for the feedback. In the situation regarding the air filter, we perform our complimentary inspection to keep our customers aware of the what is needed on their vehicle. We then reassemble the car so we can move onto the next clients vehicle. When that happens, we then need to have another technician work on the vehicle to perform any further work approved. Unfortunately this work cannot happen at no cost as we would no longer be in business if we performed these services with no labor cost associated. Again, I am sorry this was not fully understood but I do hope you understand. We hope to see you again in the future. Thanks, AEMW Management.

Booked 3 weeks in advance for a transmission service at 8am because that’s when worked for me then the day came … I asked for a loaner a few days before the day of there happened to be one that came in I could use . The Speedo did not work the odometer did not work and I had to work on the loaner in a parking lot so that it would start …. Take it back to them 3 hours after I dropped off my car for them to fix the loaner so I wouldn’t get stranded again . At this time they are just pulling my car in for the service. Was told 1.5-2hr for a server ok whatever go run a couple errands come Back 2.5hours later car is still not done then I go to pay for the work thinking it was going to be 4-500 $ but no here I am told it is just shy of 1000$ this astronomical!!!!!!!! I can buy the same kit for the service for under 200$ and do it myself They also did a “multi point inspection “ was “complimentary “ but still added time to the labour NEVER AGAIN WILL I GO BACK

Good morning Eric and let me be the first to apologize for the communication issues with the cost on the service. It is our procedure to discuss the cost before beginning any service and it seems like this was not done in this situation. We will look at making sure this doesn’t get missed in the future for others. As for the truck. This vehicle is not a regular part of our loaner car fleet, and was given to you hoping to avoid a situation like this. We apologize again for the issues you had and wish you good fortune in the future. Thanks, Jerry with AEMW
